The Church Year : Calendars

The Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) provides a three-year plan for Sunday readings starting with the season of Advent, four weeks before Christmas day. The Revised Common Lectionary is approved by the Church Council for use in ELCA congregations. Some Old Testament Readings may differ from other denominations using the Revised Common Lectionary.

The readings include the First Reading, Psalm, Second Reading, Gospel, and color for all Sundays and principal festivals.
