Holy Cross Christian Preschool and Daycare emphasizes the importance of a child developing an identity that he or she is loved and accepted as a unique individual. Our staff and students represent a diversity of faiths and are respected for their religious origin. A Christian perspective is taught on the universal principles of the importance of having an active prayer life, a loving home and family and healthy relationships with each other.

Preparation for class work in elementary school and the development of physical skills are part of a well-planned curriculum centered on the ideas and ideals of Christianity, rather than dogma. Each child’s needs will be assessed and treated in accordance with growth and development patterns.

Our preschool is governed by a Board of Directors that assists and supervises its operation and is headed by Rev. Ralph W. Holmin, Ph.D. Our director, Marion Callazzo, has more than 30 years experience teaching this age group. She and our staff of certified teachers are assisted by experienced classroom aides. Classroom size is limited to ensure individual attention for each child. Our preschool is licensed under the New Jersey Department of Human Services, which imposes strict regulations governing the establishment and maintenance of preschools.

Fees

Childcare:

•  $99 a week (6 hours)
•  $26 a day (6 hours)
•  $4.65 an hour

Nursery School:

• *Registration Fee (non-refundable) $40 per child

• 2 days (2 ¾ hours), $1,050 per child
• 3 days (2 ¾ hours), $1,400 per child
• 3 days (5 hours), $2,200 per child
• 5 days (2 ¾ hours), $2,200 per child
• 5 days (5 hours,) $3,650 per child

 Members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church are eligible for a 10% scholarship paid by church.

Families with a second child (brother or sister) attending during the same school year are eligible for a 20% tuition discount for the second child, 50% discount for the second and third child.

*Registration fee must accompany registration forms. Registration fee includes a mandatory medical plan effective Sept. 1, 2005, through the last day of school in June. The plan is effective during school hours only.

Tuition may be paid in ten (10) equal payments September through June. Tuition is due the first of the month.

• 2-day program, 10 payments of $105
• 3-day program, 10 payments of $140
• Extended 3-day program, 10 payments of $220
• 5-day (am) program, 10 payments of $220
• 5-day extended day, 10 payments of $365

Kindergarten:

•  Full-day 6 hours $396 a month
